The Albany County Department of Public Works has announced the closure of Onesquethaw Creek Road in the Town of New Scotland for the replacement of the bridge deck. According to the department, the closure will be in effect from its north intersection with NY 32 to its south intersection with NY 32.
"The closure is scheduled to begin Friday, May 3 at 9 am until further notice. NO THRU TRAFFIC including Emergency Vehicles will be allowed through the closure," stated the department.
To navigate around the closure, a signed detour will be in place, utilizing NY 32. For any inquiries regarding the road closure or detour, individuals are encouraged to contact the Albany County Department of Public Works at (518) 765-2055.
In anticipation of any inconvenience caused by the closure, Albany County extends their gratitude in advance for the public's patience during this essential project.
